of Savannah, Tennessee specializing in Leyland Cypress Christmas trees.
Why Leyland Cypress?
~Leyland Cypress Christmas trees will outlast any other tree on the
market. Many folks have found that they can enjoy these trees from Thanksgiving until January, if - and this is a big "if"
- it is kept in water. This tree will drink far more water than any other tree. That's why it lasts so long!
~Leyland Cypress has only a faint odor. An unexpected side benefit
is that it doesn't seem to bother most people with allergies. If you prefer more of the pleasant Christmas tree odor, try
one of the small tree shaped air fresheners available at many stores.
Check the tree's water twice a day initially, then at least
once a day thereafter. A large Christmas tree stand that holds plenty of water is a good idea. After cutting, your tree needs
to be put in water as soon as possible. If there is a delay, try cutting one inch off the base so the tree can drink. Otherwise,
the original cut may seal off, keeping the tree from being able to draw water.
Be sure to keep your tree away from heat sources!
